Four-Star WR Jaden Greathouse Announces His Commitment to Notre Dame

Notre Dame recruiting has been going head to head with Ohio State for the No. 1 class in the 2023 cycle. On Friday evening, the Fighting Irish retook the No. 1 spot with yet another commitment out of Texas. Four-star wide out Jaden Greathouse announced he will be the next to join this elite class of 2023 recruits via social media.

Jaden Greathouse is a four-star wide receiver for Westlake High School in Austin, Texas. Greathouse is a Top-20 player in Texas, and a Top-20 WR in the ‘23 cycle. He cut his list of 14 schools down to Texas, South Carolina, Oklahoma and Notre Dame on May 1st.

He plays for the Westlake Chaparrals and has been a major part in their legendary run the past four seasons. As a freshman he was making contributions in the offense and now has over 180 catches, 3,100 yards & 43 touchdowns heading into his senior season. It’s no question Greathouse is one of the best wide receivers in Texas High School football history, and very well could be the very best by the end of this year.

This now gives Notre Dame the No. 1 spot in the 2023 cycle. Five-star edge rusher Keon Keeley headlines the class for Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish also have Texas natives Peyton Bowen, Braylon James & Micah Bell committed as well. They also have plucked a commit out of 17 different states which is a perfect example of their efforts in recruiting this cycle. Many have been skeptical of Marcus Freeman at Notre Dame but thus far it looks like there won’t be much of a drop off at all.
