It looks like Nick Saban is starting to get his mojo going for the Class of 2021. On Wednesday afternoon 4-star linebacker, Dallas Turner, announced via Twitter he will be committing to the University of Alabama

Dallas Turner played for American Heritage School in Plantation, Florida. As of late January, the 4-star prospect has since transferred to St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The same school that produced the Bosa brothers. 247Sports has him listed as the No. 2 WDE in the Class of 2021, and is the 4th ranked DE by ESPN.

He is listed as a DE on most recruiting sites, but is best described as an edge rusher. He will be playing the role we have seen Anfernee Jennings and Terrell Lewis play for so long. Turner looks to join fellow 4-star edge rushers Ian Jackson and Deontae Lawson in Tuscaloosa.

Since May we have seen Alabama’s recruiting sky-rocket up boards as expected. With the commitment of Dallas Turner, the Crimson Tide’s recruiting class took another jump. 247Sports had them ranked inside the top 20, but are currently sitting at No. 12 in the Class of 2021.

Last season Turner was named Florida’s 5A Defensive Player of the Year after racking up 74 tackles and 15 sacks as a junior. He is committed to play in the Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas to end his high school football career.
