Four-Star Wide Receiver Amarion Brown Commits to Rutgers University

Rutgers was able to add to an impressive recruiting class for the ‘22 cycle Wednesday evening. For the second year in a row Greg Schiano plucked a receiver from the state of Florida. Four-star wide receiver Amarion Brown announced that he will be committing to the Scarlet Knights via social media.

Amarion Brown is a four-star receiver from Martin County High School in Stuart, Florida. Brown helped the Tigers to a 7-3 season last year and totaled over 1,200 all-purpose yards as a junior. He is 6’3, 175-pounds and is currently ranked as the 36th best prospect in the state of Florida.

Over 15 schools reached out and offered Brown a scholarship including Oregon, Texas, and Texas A&M. Obviously schools like Florida, Florida State and Miami were also in the mix for his talents too. Luckily for the Scarlet Knights wide receivers coach Tiquan Underwood was able to seal the deal on the four-star receiver.

Greg Schiano has been putting together an amazing class thus far for the 2022 recruiting cycle. After Brown’s commitment they rank as the No. 9 class in the entire country, and 3rd in the Big-Ten. It is especially impressive if you consider that the Knights finished 41st in recruiting and 9th in the Big-Ten last year. He joins three-star receivers Rashad Rochelle and Jojo Bermudez in the Rutgers ’22 class. Brown is the second highest recruit in the class behind four-star inside linebacker Anthony Johnson.
