Ever since early May Roderick Daniels Jr has been committed to Baylor University and seemed to be locked in with the Bears. For Baylor fans though they have gotten their hearts broken with a slew of decommitments recently. One of them was Duncanville product Roderick Daniels Jr. who announced his decision on Sunday morning.
This season Roderick Daniels Jr has been Duncanville High School’s best playmaker on the offense. He has 33 receptions for 568 yards and six touchdowns, as well as plenty of return and rushing yards. He can do a little bit of everything and is a real problem with the ball in his hands. Dave Aranda could have definitely used the speed that Daniels possesses and his versatility in his offense.
Earlier in the year Daniels posted that his decision was down to Baylor or SMU. The Mustangs haven’t had the prettiest 2020 but it has been a lot better than Baylor’s. SMU is going to most likely be the team to beat out here, and should have an easy time convincing him to commit.
Roderick Daniels Jr holds offers from schools like Arizona State, Miami, Minnesota and more. Stay tuned with us to find out where the talented Dallas product decides to call home!
