Ohio State is currently pushing to have the best recruiting class of all time, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t already looking at the Class of 2022 yet either. Dasan McCullough, the No. 7 ATH in the Class of 2022, has announced his commitment to the Buckeyes via Twitter.
The McCullough family is no stranger to the state of Ohio. Dasan’s older brother is currently a defensive back for Miami (OH) University, his father was a star running back for the RedHawks, and even his grandfather played for the university too.
“The biggest reason is most definitely that I’m from (Ohio). My whole family is from there. My family is from Cincinnati and Youngstown. Most of my family still lives in Cincinnati. And in Ohio, Ohio State is the big college team. They are the biggest thing besides the Bengals and the Browns.”

Dasan McCullough is listed as a 6’5, 220-pound athlete but has been recruited as an outside linebacker for the Buckeyes. Currently he plays all over the field for Blue Valley North High School, but has the frame to grow into something special off the edge.
Pretty much any school you could think of offered a scholarship to the North Overland Park native. Ohio State won his commitment over schools like Alabama, LSU and Oregon. 247Sports lists him as the No. 1 player in the state of Kansas and the 71st overall player in the Class of 2022.
