Tuesday afternoon the Indiana Hoosier landed a very big commitment in the Class of 2023. In fact if this commitment sticks, and it likely will, it will be the highest rated prospect in Indiana’s football program. Four-star safety Daeh McCullough announced he will be committing to the Hoosiers via social media.
Daeh McCullough is a 6’2, 195-pound safety from Bloomington, Indiana and is the second best . Before transferring to Bloomington South High School McCullough played two seasons at Blue Valley North High School. Last season the Panthers went 4-4 due to COVID-19 issues but still remained 3-2 in league play. Older brother Dasan McCullough is also a four-star athlete that will be joining Daeh at Bloomington South.
17 schools have already offered McCullough a scholarship. On that list are names like Florida, Kentucky and Michigan. The one thing that those schools couldn’t offer though was a true family connection with newly named running backs coach Deland McCullough. Deland is the father of Daeh, and just recently accepted the job as associate head coach and running backs coach.
As stated earlier if Daeh’s commitment sticks this will be the highest rated recruit in the football program’s history. Currently the Hoosiers have two commitments in the boat for the ’23 recruiting circuit. That already gives the Hooisers more commitments from the 2023 recruiting circuit than they have from the 2022 recruiting circuit. On top of Daeh McCullough’s commitment Indiana also has three-star defensive end Denzel Moore.
