Wisconsin’s 2021 recruiting cycle has been relatively quiet in recent weeks, but the Badgers just landed their second best highest rated recruit since 2010. The five star talent chose Wisconsin over Penn State, Clemson, and Notre Dame. He also held offers from pretty much any team you could imagine, Alabama, Oregon, Ohio State, etc.
Nolan Rucci is 247Sports No. 14 overall recruit for the Class of 2021, and the best player in the state of Pennsylvania. He plays for Warwick High School in Lititz, Pennsylvania and currently stands 6’8, 295-pounds.
This makes for the third offensive tackle inside the ESPN 300 to commit to Wisconsin this cycle. J.P. Benzschawel and Riley Mahlman, both also have family ties to the school, committed earlier this year. This should come as no surprise considering the history Wisconsin has as an offensive line factory, which is a big reason why Nolan Rucci chose the Badgers.
"The development is obvious as you see with the guys they put in the NFL in recent years."

Rucci is just Wisconsin’s 5th five-star recruit to ever commit to the university. 247Sports Barton Simmons describes the future Badger as…
“Huge offensive line prospect with length, an athletic build and one of the more unique body types you will find. Plays with good knee bend and leverage for a player of his size. Coordinated and fluid as a second level blocker. Overwhelms defenders with size and force. Finishes blocks and runs his feet through contact.”
