Allen Rolls into the 3rd Round Defeating Richardson 59-7

On Friday I pulled up to watch one of the biggest HS’s in the nation, Allen High School, take on Richardson High School in the 2nd round of the 6A-I TXHSFB playoffs.
The Allen Eagles came into this game an undefeated 11-0, fresh off a 17 to 3 victory vs. Lewisville and definitely carried that momentum into this game.

After Jr. WR Dameon Crowe took this opening kickoff to the house, the Eagles would go on to show everyone why they are a legitimate state contender this year. The very next possession Allen would take the kickoff back for a touchdown of their own sparking a run of 59 unanswered points.
Allen’s offense was fueled by their two headed monster at RB, Micah Ellis & Jaden Hambric.  Both running backs were breaking off big runs at will, and allowed the Eagles to also run out the clock with ease. The Eagles rushed for 200 yards and five touchdowns on the night.
Their defense was on point too coming up with multiple turnovers & didn’t let Richardson in the endzone a single time. This game was over by halftime with Allen taking a 52-6 lead into the locker room, and brought in the back ups to start the 2nd half.

The final would end up being 59-6, as the Allen Eagles remain undefeated in their search for a state championship, and advance to take on the Euless Trinity Trojans.
