The Alabama recruiting class just got a little deeper as Terrence Ferguson has announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide. Fresh off getting the Brockermeyer twins in the 2021 boat, Nick Saban adds another big time name.
Terrence Ferguson is a 4-star prospect, and the No. 2 offensive guard in the Class of 2021. He is a Fort Valley, Georgia product and plays football for Peach County High School. According to 247Sports he is the No. 5 prospect in Georgia and 47th overall player for the Class of 2021.
Many had the recruitment of Ferguson narrowed down between Georgia and Alabama, with Arkansas and Florida State left in the mix too. This is a big grab for Alabama going into Bulldog territory and stealing an elite prospect from them.
It has been one busy month of recruiting for Nick Saban. At the beginning of the week the Crimson Tide’s 2021 recruiting class ranked 12th but have since jumped all the way to 2nd. We could, and probably should, expect this to rise even higher with Ga’Quincy McKinstry and Damon Payne being current Bama leans.
Bama wants to sign five offensive linemen this recruiting circuit due to only signing three in the Class of 2020. With the commitment of Terrence, the Crimson Tide now have the No. 1 and No. 2 OT, the No. 1 C and the No. 2 OG in the Class of 2021.
