Five ⭐️ CB Charles Lester III Commits to FSU Over Colorado & Georgia🍢

Florida State just got their lick back on Coach Prime & Colorado.
Today, I want to talk about Charles Lester picking Florida State over Deion Sanders & the Colorado Buffs. 
Charles Lester III is a five-star cornerback and a Top-20 recruit in the 2024 cycle. He is considered to be the No. 2 cornerback in this class according to 247Sports Composite ranking and the 4th best player in Florida. He just transferred to Venice High School after playing for Sarasota Riverview High School last season.  He did it all for the Rams logging snaps at cornerback, wide receiver and even wildcat quarterback. Last season he recorded 5 interceptions and 437 yards of total offense and four touchdowns.

Florida State has long been the team to beat for the five-star cornerback, but Deion Sanders was able to get him on campus right before his decision. If you know anything about Deion, this is his bread and butter. 
Over the past two cycles he has stolen Florida’s best cornerback prospects from both Florida State & Miami. Despite listing out Alabama and Georgia as other top schools, he said before his commitment Colorado was the only other school he was really considering besides Florida State. All the signs were starting to look like Coach Prime was about to pull out some magic again, but the Seminoles were able to come out on top for this battle. 
Lester has visited Florida State nine times during his recruitment and said that Florida State has always been his dream school growing up. He also said he has felt the love from the coaching staff since his very first visit, and credits those relationships on why he locked in with Florida State. 
This gives the Seminoles their highest rated cornerback since landing Lavonta Taylor back in 2016. He is also just the 2nd cornerback to commit to Florida State from this cycle joining 3-star Ricky Knight III. Lester joins fellow five-star talent Landen Thomas as the headliners for this Florida State class. 
Not only that but his commitment jumps them into the Top-10 recruiting classes over schools like Clemson & USC.   They are still fighting for guys like LJ McCray, Jalewis Solomon and possibly even K.J. Bolden though that seems a little more far fetched. They also are working to flip Artavious Jones and possibly even Joshisa Trader from the Miami Hurricanes. 
If they are able to do so that could give Mike Norvell the best recruiting class Florida State has put together in quite sometime. Those commitments could help the Seminoles walk away with their first Top-5 recruiting class since 2016.
And in the process of recording this video news just broke that four-star offensive tackle Manasse Itete (I probably butchered that) just decommitted from USC, and has received a ton of crystal balls to Florida State. According to 247Sports he is the No. 12 offensive tackle, and a Top-150 prospect in this class, which would give them five commits in the Top-150.
