Wednesday afternoon five-Star running back Raleek Brown announced his decommitment from the University of Oklahoma. He joined a long list of athletes to leave the program this week due to Lincoln Riley’s departure.
However, less than 24-hours after announcing his decommitment it looks like he has found a new home. Just like Malachi Nelson, Brown has followed Lincoln Riley and committed to the USC Trojans. He took to social media to announce this decision.
Raleek Brown is a 5’8, 175-pound running back out of Mater Dei High School. While he is listed at running back Raleek is expected to play a lot in the receiving game for Riley. According to 247Sports he is the nation’s No. 2 running back, and the 34th overall prospect.
This is a huge commitment for the Trojans as it keeps one of the top talents in California in house yet again. Korey Foreman, Raesjon Davis, Malachi Nelson and Raleek Brown are some of the best recruits to come out of the LA area in the past decade. All of them are now either on the team or on track to be apart of the USC football program.
Brown is Lincoln Riley’s first commit for USC in the 2022 recruiting cycle. He joins only four other commits in a recruiting class that ranks last in the Pac-12.
