The Trojans are on a mission to take back the West and have been dominating the recruiting trails in California. They’ve been doing a good job so far landing the No. 1 player in California the past two years and forming a Top-8 recruiting class in 2021. Friday afternoon they were able to land another talented in-state prospect in Keyan Burnett.
Keyan Burnett is a 6’5, 215-pound tight end from Anaheim, California. He plays for Servite High School but was unable to play a junior season due to California’s COVID-19 regulations. 17 schools have offered Burnett a scholarship but his final choices were Arizona, Arizona State and of course USC.
“USC is a powerhouse program — always has been and always will be and it’s right here in my backyard too.” – Keyan Burnett

He plans on pursuing a degree in real estate, and credits USC’s Lusk’s Center for Real Estate as a major draw to the school. Both his parents are in the real estate world and looks to continue in their footsteps.
USC now has the 11th best recruiting for the ‘22 cycle and more importantly the No. 1 class within the Pac-12. Burnett is their 6th commit thus far, and their second in-state prospect for the class. Cornerbacks Domani Jackson and Fabian Ross lead the way for Trojans thus far. Jackson is currently ranked as the No. 1 cornerback in the entire Class of 2022.
