The Los Angeles Rams pushed the Buffalo Bills to the brink last week, but Josh Allen willed his team to 35-32 victory. Their hot streak continued into Week 4 vs the Las Vegas Raiders as they squeaked by 30-23.
Buffalo would start the game with the ball and drive 75 yards down the field to score. Josh Allen completed a 26-yard touchdown pass to Gabirel Davis, his 11th of the season, to put the Bills up 7-0. Las Vegas attempted to retaliate, but chewed over five minutes off the clock to net them just 48 yards and a field goal.
Devin Singletary would start to get worked into the offense on their second drive but it would be Cole Beasley’s 11-yard touchdown reception that highlighted the drive. After an awkward fall Josh Allen appeared to have suffered a left arm injury, but didn’t miss a snap coming back from halftime.
The fourth quarter was simply all Buffalo. Josh Allen would cap off a six play scoring drive with a one-yard rushing touchdown on the first play of the quarter. Six plays later Darren Waller would get stripped by Josh Norman who recovered the fumble as well. The very next play Stefon Diggs would haul in a 49-yard reception, and in the blink of an eye Buffalo was up 30-16.
Ed Oliver had two tackles for loss in the game, and one of them was a big stop on 4th down to turn the ball over at the Raiders own 34-yard line. With a little over nine minutes left, the Bills began to try and put this game in the books
Josh Allen finished the game with 288 yards passing and two passing touchdowns. Stefon Diggs had a team high six receptions for 115 yards. John Brown recorded four catches for 42 yards, and Cole Beasley caught three passes for 32 yards and a touchdown. Devin Singletary not only had a game high 18 carries for 55 rushing yards, but he also had five catches for 21 yards receiving.
Derek Carr had one of the better performances on the night with 311 passing yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. Josh Jacobs led the Raiders rushing attack with 15 carries for 46 yards, and had three receptions for 25 yards. Though Darren Waller did have the costly turnover for the Raiders, he also had a game high nine catches for 88 yards.
Looking to stay undefeated, the Buffalo Bills travel down to Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans. The Las Vegas Raiders get no time to feel sorry for themselves as the travel to Arrowhead Stadium to take on their division rivals, and defending Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs.
