The Washington State Cougars just picked up an extremely underrated recruit to their 2023 class. Monday evening running back De’Ago Benson announced he will be committing to the Cougars via social media.
De’Ago Benson is a 6’0, 200-pound running back out of Midlothian, Texas. He is currently unranked on all the major recruiting sites but has seen a recent spike in his recruitment. Schools like Boise State, Tulsa, and Arkansas State all have extended offers to the Texas native.
This gives the Cougars their 11th commitment in their ‘23 class. This is now the second year in a row they have dipped into the state of Texas for a running back. Last year they added three-star running back Jaylen Jenkins from Allen High School. Washing State also has landed a recruit from Texas for the sixth year in a row.
