The Clemson Tigers had an extremely busy Saturday this weekend. It got off with the Tigers landing four-star safety/linebacker Keon Sabb out of IMG Academy. This would make for the second commitment from IMG Academy in the Class of 2022.
Keon Sabb is a safety/linebacker hybrid out of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He stands 6’2, 200-pounds and is currently ranked as the No. 6 athlete in the country. Sabb is one of the many highly rated recruits on the IMG Academy 2020 National Championship team. Just in the secondary alone IMG has five-star safety Kamari Wilson, and four-star cornerback Daylen Everette to pair with Keon.
With nearly 35 offers on the table you already know schools like Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State were all vying for his talents. He was able to narrow down his list on June 1st releasing his Top-6 schools. That list was Texas A&M, Clemson, Penn State, Oregon, Georgia, and LSU. Michigan was later added onto that list.
This now gives the Clemson Tigers two commits from IMG Academy’s defense from the Class of ‘22. Four-star defensive end Jihaad Campbell committed to the Tigers back in late June. Sabb is a giant recruiting victory for the Tigers as they now look to be heating up on the recruiting trail.
