Three-Star WR Dozie Ezukanma Commits to TCU

After dealing with the news of a few crucial players entering the transfer portal, TCU fans were able to wake up to some good news Friday morning. Three-star wide receiver Dozie Ezukanma announced he will be committing to the Horned Frogs after recently decommitting from Oklahoma.
Dozie Ezukanma is a three-star wide receiver out of Keller, Texas which is about 30 minutes outside of Fort Worth. His older brother, Erik Ezukanma, is a wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins and was a third round pick out of Texas Tech. Including schools like Texas Tech, Oklahoma and TCU Ezukanma holds 15 total offers currently. According to 247Sports he is a Top-90 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle and a Top-125 recruit in the state of Texas.
I’ve been able to see Dozie in person a few times in the 7v7 circuit with Texas Threat, as well as spring ball, and his athleticism jumps off the charts almost literally. Rivals has him listed at 6’4, 185-lbs and has a high vertical to add with the frame.
Sonny Dykes offenses are always very wide receiver friendly so it’s not hard to say he will more than likely fit in the Horned Frogs offense nicely. As far as what they have had in the past his abilities are very similar to what they had Quentin Johnston and Saivion Williams do the past few seasons.
With losing guys like Cordale Russell, Jared Wiley and possibly Savion Williams to the draft; the receiving options are going to need a re-haul. They do still have guys like J.P. Richardson, JoJo Earle, & Zack Bech who all had flashes here and there last season. Savion Williams isn’t confirmed gone either, but heading to the NFL wouldn’t be shocking.
